Connectivity - Bluetooth & AirPort

Whether or not there are any security implications with leaving Bluetooth switched-on by default i'm not 100% sure however prior to connecting to the internet Bluetooth was switched off, this can be done by clicking on the Bluetooth icon at the uttermost right of the screen. At a guess switching off Bluetooth whilst not in use also reduces power consumption.

Something that i've found particularly pleasing with AirPort is that it seems to immediately detected a Wireless Network and has done so on the two seperate Wireless Connections used whilst getting to grips of OS X. Wired Equivalent Privacy was enabled on one of these however adding the necessary key was a breeze.
